A village man came to Nasreddin and said:
- Your bull gored my cow, do I owe anything for this?
“No,” Nasreddin said immediately, “the bull cannot be responsible for its actions.”
“Sorry,” said the cunning man, “I got everything mixed up.” I wanted to say that it was my bull that gored your cow, but in essence it’s the same thing.
“No,” said Nasreddin, “I think it would be better to look through the code of laws again, maybe I’ll come across something suitable.”
